Cloverdale’s Main St in full bloom [pics]

Cloverdale’s Main St upgrade is finally complete will the installation of hanging baskets along the lampposts. The baskets look fantastic and colourful.
In addition, I’ve included pictures of the three life sized public art carvings that were installed earlier in the spring. These statues were part of the Cultural Capital program of 2008.

98B Ave extension coming soon!

There’s been discussions about extending 98B Ave as part of the Holland Pointe development, west of King George Highway. As some may know, the site you see above is set to become the area of a massive complex, including the famed 70 storey tower, developed by the Berezan Group.

The mall currently looks extremely dated compared to others in Metro Vancouver – I would bet that it’s one of the ugliest around – just take a look:
