City & SFU launch third Transport Lecture program
The City and SFU Surrey have partnered once again to offer the third annual Transportation Lecture program. Over two modules, each with six three hour classes, you can learn from transport experts from the City, TransLink, and the Province about the issues facing Surrey. Along with your peers, you are challenged to walk a day in an engineer’s shoes and find solutions that are acceptable to the public.
Modules can be taken progressively or in different years. Tuition is $30 for Surrey residents and $60 for non-Surrey residents, including a refundable $100 if you attend 80% of classes. You can register for the Fall semester now.
As a participant in the first session in 2010, I highly recommend attending the program. It is genuinely informative and will add a deeper level of knowledge and context to the issues we talk about on Civic Surrey.
