Ultra, the first tower in WestStone’s master planned Urban Village development, has gone through some design changes, but appears to now be ready for its close up. This on-again, off-again project was first stalled due to the financial collapse of 2008. WestStone held off its plans for a year, then redesigned the attached four-storey low rise building into a handful of townhouses. Now, the original bold design has been refined into a far more typical Vancouver-style condo building. Regardless, the design is still more interesting than the dull facade of Infinity.
The 40-storey tower, once built, will be the tallest building in the City Centre area. By comparison, Central City is only 25-storeys tall!

Wow this is incredible – I love tall buildings and still cannot figure out how they actually stand up! – This will be a great boost for the city
