Sky Towers, Holland Pointe officially cancelled

According to a recent Planning Report, two City Centre developments have been officially ended. Sky Towers, a proposal for two high rises adjacent to the Infinity development, was put on hold following the financial collapse of 2008, and its development permit has now expired.

Meanwhile, Holland Pointe, a three tower proposal along the edge of Holland Park, has been in “abeyance” for the past two years. This proposal was never granted a final development permit, and unless the developer jumps back into the fray relatively soon, it is safe to say that this one is dead as well.
