The North Creek pedestrian bridge in Clayton will begin construction shortly. The project has been on the financial books since 2007, with half of the $1.7 million bridge’s funding being provided by the Provincial Government. The bridge is a critical connection for families and students on the North side of the ravine to access Adams Road Elementary on the south, as well for cyclists moving between the Fraser Highway and Cloverdale Greenways. It is anticipated to be built by September.

Holy shit, infrastructure money is actually going to Clayton? I must have missed the flying pigs.
