Atira’s Maxxine Wright Place [pics]

Following receipt of the first $1 million grant from the Surrey Homelessness and Housing Society, Atira announced it would build an 8,000 sq. ft. extension to Maxxine Wright Place – a centre for pregnant women at-risk of homelessness. The LEED Gold facility will include 12 short-term stay units, 24 units of long-term transitional housing, a 49 -space child care centre, and a community health clinic. Construction of the new centre is nearing completion. It’s located at 13729 92 Ave.
