Sustainable Architecture Series @ the Surrey Arts Centre

The Surrey Arts Centre has been holding a very unique display and outreach series for the past couple months on Sustainable Architecture. There’s three exhibitions underway, two of which end on December 21st – the other a week earlier. 

  1. 41 degrees to 66 degrees – Regional Responses to Sustainable Architecture in Canada
  2. Building Green: A B.C. Showcase
  3. Regenerative Architecture: Visions of the Future

The Arts Centre has also been been presenting a speaker series on this topic, and the final discussion will occur this Thursday, November 27 @ 7 pm featuring Peter Busby and Ray Cole.

Busby the founder of Busby Perkins+Will, a founding member of the Canada Green Building Council, and received the Order of Canada in 2005. Cole is the Director of the UBC School of Architecture + Landscape Architecture.

    Thanks for the heads up Paul. I saw an ad for this a while back and thought it was a one night thing, I am very happy to hear it is ongoing, and I am going to check it out.
