Not sure what to think of this one. Trying to figure out where these supposed 10 acres lie and how they're going to find that amount of land. Also, vertical farm... umm... why not fund the conservation of existing farmland instead, and encourage co-op gardens within and outside of this supposed complex where people can interact with and maintain the gardens easily? I like the market, library annd performing arts bits, but then, I'm biased ;) It's my understanding that this 70-storey tower would be the tallest in BC. Going that far up is the wrong direction, and I hope it doesn't happen. What I'd like to see is a complete reno and upscaling to 4 - 10 storey mixed commercial/residential of that entire area. (Lower Lonsdale has a brand new and really good example of that.) What's the point of huge glossy towers when the area around it looks like shit? Uhh, yeah. Not sure what to think of this one.
